Luka Dončić is a Slovenian basketball player that is by many considered a basketball prodigy collecting one of the most accolades as a teenager in the history of basketball. He was born in Ljubljana in 1999 to a Slovenian mother Mirjam Poterbin and Slovenia-born Serbian father Saša Dončić, who was a professional basketball player from 1993 to 2010. His parents divorced in 2008, and Luka lived with his mom from that time on, with whom he is much closer until today.
